This is the first method:
Select the brush tool from the left-hand toolbar.
Click the small arrow in the top right of the brushes menu to open the dropdown Options menu.
Select Load Brushes from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the Presets > Brushes folder that you put your brushes in. Double-click the .abr file.
- The downloaded brushes now appear in your list of available brushes.
This is the second method
Click the Window dropdown menu in the toolbar and select the Brushes palate
Select the dropdown Options menu in the upper-right corner of the Brushes palate.Select Load Brushes from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the Presets > Brushes folder that you put your brushes in. Double-click the .abr file.
- The downloaded brushes now appear in your list of available brushes.
To manage your brushes, reopen the Options menu from the Brushes menu. This time, instead of selecting Load Brushes, select Preset Manager. This will allow you to organize the order and display of your brush sets for maximum convenience. When you're done, select Save Brushes from the Options menu to save the settings you've adjusted.
Your Photoshop brushes are now installed! Simply repeat the process for each new set that you wish to add to your collection.
